The files were declassified and made public for the first time. During the event, citizens were informed and application forms for access to the files were filled out.

Documentary exhibition with files/documents created by the former State Security for the Tepelenë area, held on August 20, 2018, in Tirana, at the premises of AIDSSH, with the presence of researchers, media, and human rights organizations. During this event, 44 files were declassified and made public for the first time. The former State Security files addressed the Zhapokikë Uprising, the local clergy, the Bënçë camp, internees, escapees, those killed at the border, diversionist bands, and more.

Exhibition in Tirana and Memaliaj of AIDSSH archival materials, held on October 5–6, 2018, on the anti-communist resistance of Zhapokikë, in cooperation with counterpart institutions, local authorities, and the local community. Citizens were informed during the event and application forms were completed.

A conversation with former prisoners of Burrel and the parallels between the two communist realities. A collaboration between AIDSSH and Inner Wheel Club Tirana, bringing to Tirana’s high schools the exhibition on the activities of the STASI in East Germany, organized with the German Authority for the Opening of Files, BStU.
