Documentary exhibition. As part of the event titled “Religious Dissent in Albania during the Years 1967–1990,” held on May 30, 2019, in Tirana, with the participation of representatives from religious communities, AIDSSH exhibited archival documents on the persecution of Catholic, Orthodox, Muslim, and Bektashi clergy.
“The Untold Stories of Lushnjë.” A photographic and archival exhibition on the persecution by the State Security in the villages of the interned in Myzeqe, opened on August 18, 2019, in Lushnjë. AIDSSH, in cooperation with the Municipality of Lushnjë, the Institute for the Integration of the Persecuted, the Anti-Communist Association of Politically Persecuted, survivors, institutions, and active civil society, launched the commemorative week “Dignity in the Face of Totalitarianism, August 2019,” organized in the framework of August 23, the European Day of Remembrance for Victims of Totalitarian Regimes, and August 30, the International Day of the Disappeared. The exhibition, with archival materials, presented dozens of State Security files on the persecution of the anti-communist factor in the Lushnjë area, many of them shown for the first time.
“Communist Persecution in the Lushnjë Area”, a photographic exhibition featuring the profiles of those interned in the villages of Lushnjë, and an exhibition with archival materials from AIDSSH held on August 19, 2019.
“Communist Persecution in the Belsh Area”, a documentary exhibition with archival materials from AIDSSH. Held on August 21, 2019, BELSH. In cooperation with the Municipality of Belsh, interest groups, and survivors of persecution, AIDSSH carried out the first phase of the Local Dialogue in Belsh, an area where internees were relocated from the Tepelenë camp and elsewhere, and also home to the women’s prison, which included prisoners of conscience. The documentary exhibition with archival materials from the Belsh area and the women’s prison was presented along the town’s promenade.

“The Imperfect Past” – an exhibition on the communist dictatorship. The exhibition, featuring profiles of those who disappeared under the dictatorship, was opened at the National Historical Museum on August 19, 2019 as part of the International Day of Human Rights, organized by AIDSSH in cooperation with the Institute for the Integration of Former Politically Persecuted Persons and ICMP (International Commission on Missing Persons).
Documentary exhibition with archival materials from the Përmet area held on December 13, 2019, in Përmet. AIDSSH, in cooperation with the Municipality of Përmet and the Anti-Communist Association of Politically Persecuted Persons, organized the first Dialogue on Dictatorship meeting in the city of Përmet. AIDSSH exhibited archival materials from the area, including processing registers, evidence books, processing files, investigative-judicial files, and management files from various parts of Përmet.
