The Authority for Information on the Documents of the Former State Security, in commemoration of the concentrated crackdown on the anti-communist factor in the south of the country, at the request of the Municipality of Konispol, exhibits archival documents from dozens of Security persecution files, many of which are shown for the first time.
The event is open to the media.
Materials about personalities of the time such as Teme Sejko, Tahir Demi, Rexhep Plaku, and dozens of others amounting to several thousand pages are made available to interested parties—researchers and scholars, former persecuted individuals and their families, civil society, and the media—allowing full access to their complete inventories and more.
The exhibition is held in collaboration with the General Directorate of Archives and the Ministry of Defense, and marks the opening of activities dedicated to the commemoration of the aforementioned figures, which will take place in Konispol at the end of June.
Interested parties can complete the information request forms, in accordance with Law 45/2015, to access and read these documents.
You are welcome on Tuesday, June 19, at 11:00 AM, at AIDSSH, near the Republican Guard.
